Michael Kelly, M.Ed., CFRM grew up in suburban Atlanta where he graduated from Oglethorpe University with a bachelor’s degree, majoring in Business Administration and Behavioral Sciences. He moved to South Florida to work in the fight against HIV/AIDS with the Comprehensive AIDS Program of Palm Beach County where he led several fundraising events and managed the agency’s volunteer run HIV testing and counseling program.
After a twenty-year teaching career and earning a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from American College of Education, he returned to nonprofit work in 2022, working in donor services at the Community Foundation of Broward where he earned his certification in fundraising management from the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana University. Currently, Michael and his husband live in Plantation.
