This year has started out to be very exciting!
As
the board president, I have been working together
with an amazing group of Board Members to ensure
that your AFP experience is something you can be
proud of and benefit from.
When
we met for our annual board retreat, we all agreed
that what was most important to us this year was
that we made our members feel the value in their
involvement with AFP Fort Lauderdale/Broward. We
decided that our key areas of focus would be:

board is working together to attain these goals
and as the year progresses I’ll be reporting back
to you the result of these efforts in emails and
on our updated website.
In

Board – our Annual Meeting and Election takes place
in October. And, get your thinking hats on for
your table honorees for National Philanthropy Day,
coming up on November 13th! More information
can be found on the website…It’s a fantastic event
and we would love to have you join us in celebrating
the philanthropy so vital to the community we serve.
