Using the AFP International site

There is an immense amount of information stored on the AFP International Site, such as: collection of news that affects you, studies about your donors, connections to useful resources and more. If you don’t feel you know how to make the best use of this important benefit, we have the answers below. All non-profit professionals can access many parts of the website, not just members. AFP Member Gateway

Logging into the Gateway

Log into the member gateway by selecting īloginī from the international site, or following the AFP Member Gateway link. You will see a prompt for your member number and password. If you need help logging on or remembering your member number, you can always email AFP International or call them directly for support at 703.684.0410.

Member Gateway Resources

AFPīs members-only gateway includes the AFP directory, program discounts, documents, information on posting your resume and how to sign up for discussion groups. Here are a few of the services, tools and benefits you will find in the members-only gateway:
  • Member Resources: There are many benefits to AFP membership. Find information on travel, car rental, overnight delivery, insurance, market research, long-term care policies, plus much more.
     
  • Discussion Groups: Want to find out what members are talking about? Want to share your experiences? Looking for fresh ideas? Sign up for a Gateway Discussion group.
     
  • Career Planner: The Career Planner lets you search for learning resources in five ways: learning objectives, type of resource, location, resource provider and key-word. Chart your course to performance excellence.
     
  • Member Directory: Looking for a colleague you have lost touch with? Search the Member Directory and you will find information on more than 27,000 members.
