The Fort Lauderdale Broward Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) is pleased to announce its 2010 Fundamentals of Fundraising Program, recently renamed the Leslie W. Brown, CFRE, Fundamentals in Fundraising Program in memory of Leslie, a co-founder of the program. Now in its12th year,, the ten-session education packed program will be held on Wednesday evenings from January 20 through March 24, 2010 at ArtServe, Inc, 1350 East Sunrise Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale from 6:00 p.m. to 8:10 p.m.

 Whether you are a development professional, board member or volunteer of a non profit organization, this unique course is an opportunity to meet with top fundraising professionals who will lead classes on topics as board development, the development plan, major gifts, annual giving, prospect research and management, special campaigns, planned giving and ethical practices. Those who attend the course will receive a comprehensive study guide which includes outlines, handouts and samples of tested ideas that work.

The cost for the ten–week program is $179 for AFP members, $199 for non-members and $139 for each individual from the same organization.
