The Fort Lauderdale Broward Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) is pleased to announce its 2009 Fundamentals of Fundraising Program. Now in its eleventh year, the ten-session education packed program will be held on Wednesday evenings from January 21 through March 25, 2009 at ArtServe, Inc, 1350 East Sunrise Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale from 6:00 p.m. to 8:10 p.m.

 Whether you are a development professional, board member or volunteer of a non profit organization, this unique course is an opportunity to meet with top fundraising professionals who will lead classes on topics as board development, the development plan, major gifts, annual giving, prospect research and management, special campaigns, planned giving and ethical practices. Those who attend the course will receive a comprehensive study guide which includes outlines, handouts and samples of tested ideas that work.

The cost for the ten–week program is $169 for AFP members, $189 for non-members and $129 for each individual from the same organization.
